I attended my Reiki Level I certification with Maria Sellars in the
Spring of 2022.

Over the course of the weekend training, we
learned about the history of reiki; intentions behind this sacred
practice; practical applications; and techniques.

We were then able to put all of our newfound knowledge into practice and were carefully guided through multiple hands on practices with each other. Maria is a master at delivering information in a very understandable way. She respectfully and carefully holds space for each and every student practitioner and she encouragingly guided each of us through our own experiential practices. I highly recommend this training to anyone interested in the healing potential of energy work.

Reiki Level 1 with Maria Sellars was an experience I'll always carry with me. I learned so much about energy healing, how it works, how to use it and what tools can be added to enhance it, such as tuning forks, essential oils and crystals.

Maria is such a ray of sunshine, a Being of Light. She just radiates joy and love and it was a true privilege to learn how Reiki has been a integral part of her emanating such Light. We learned about chakras, and cleaning auras. T he whole weekend was packed with wisdom and tools for effective living and well-being that I've found great comfort in implementing since.

We had lots of practice time where we got to demonstrate and play with Reiki. We practiced on ourselves and others in the group and it was quite something to be infused in such an intentionally loved- filled space. Maria is so caring and encouraging, providing a space where you feel Seen and celebrated and so at ease.

I was sent information about Maria’s level 1 reiki certification by a friend. I was unsure at first why she thought of me but something within told me to jump on it. I’d heard of reiki before and had a session or 2 done before and thought it’d be nice to be able to practice on myself throughout my journey.

When I met Maria, I was instantly attracted to her energy and essence. 10 minutes into the training I said to myself, “I’m going to practice reiki on others”. The training was the perfect intro to understanding reiki and it’s history as well as the magic it can provide to others. I learned a little more about self in this training and it was a big piece of my continued spiritual journey.

After the training I did my 21 days of practice and then a week later opened up my home office and offered reiki sessions to others. Since then I’ve practiced on close to 50 people and I can honestly say each session blows my mind. I’m honored to be able to serve others in this way and look forward to completing level 2 soon! Thank you Maria, for being such a light in this world and sharing your gifts with others.

The descriptor Life- changing may seem like an exaggeration or over embellishment! But after my 2 day Level 1 training with Maria, my life has literally changed. I walked away with an introduction to energy work along with some associated tools like crystals, essential oils, smudging and tuning forks.

Prior to the training I had superficial understanding of what it meant to move and work with energy. Thus my only expectation was simply to become familiar. Goal accomplished and exceeded!! I left in awe, with boosted confidence and a sense of knowing. I gained a toolkit that I can deploy and utilize in order to help heal.

Maria’s approach was inviting and natural. She began with allowing hands-on interaction with the concept of energy and begin to practice feeling it.

We weren’t just told about it, Maria created space for us to authentically discover how to feel the energy. Breath work was introduced, practiced and centered throughout the session. All methods were simple to recall and follow.

I would encourage everyone to take this training with Maria! We were allotted ample time to read, listen, discuss, do, and then discuss what was felt and attempt to give words to feelings. Take-aways galore!!!

I love the easy to understand manual. All the reminders come in handy as I self practice. And I greatly appreciated the introduction to Chakras and Aura. Maria provided a great breakdown and showed connectivity to energy work. Beyond worth our time and energy!
